Liz’s Pet Grooming welcomes all pet owners to the shop to try our grooming styles and looks. Although we do accept walk-ins, to be guaranteed grooming service we recommend calling one or two days in advance to set an appointment. We welcome walk-in customers, but strongly recommend calling the shop to see whether space is or will be available through the day. We will make every effort to accommodate your pet by all means possible.
Before you bring your dog in
To make your pet’s visit more enjoyable, we recommend pet parents consider the following:
- Although Liz provides fresh food and water during long stays, many pets do not eat certain dog foods or brands. We recommend making sure your pet is properly hydrated and fed before coming to the shop. Fed pets tend to behave better on the grooming table.
- You are welcome to bring a favourite toy or blanket your pet is used to. Familiar belongings help pets stay calm and occupied during the day.
- Plan your pet’s visit ahead of time. The sooner you set an appointment, the better the chance your pet will be serviced that day. Setting an appointment does not guarantee priority or first class service, it simply ensures your pet will be accepted for service during that grooming session. Late appointments may be considered walk-ins and may lose their grooming space that day due to capacity. Liz’s Pet Grooming will accommodate and reschedule the order in which pets are serviced.
- Please provide an accurate phone number where Liz can reach you. We also recommend providing a number for another available person your pet knows and socialises with well.
- Please be available and ready to return to the shop in case of an emergency.
- Let the groomer know at drop off if a different person will be picking your pet up.
